President Vučić Attended Joint Tactical Exercise by SAF and MOI

Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, alongside Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has attended today Joint Tactical Live Fire Exercise "Severac 2022" (North Wind 2022) held by SAF and MOI forces at "Pasuljanske Livade" Training Ground. Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin also attended the exercise, as well as staff members of the Minister of Defence and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.

Upon conclusion of the exercise, Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces praised the exercise participants for demonstrating their competence for conducting operations.

The joint tactical exercise represents the final segment of intense exercise activities executed this week at Pasuljanske Livade with participation from over 2,500 SAF and MOI members and around 100 pieces of materiel.
  
These planned activities aim to improve the competence of commands and some of the units of SAF and MOI.

The exercise presented the action by a reinforced tactical group while conducting operations, and interoperability and cooperation of different components of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence and special operations forces of SAF and police engaged in the same mission. It involved the use of helicopters Mi-35, Mi-17 and H-145, air defence artillery missile system "Pantsir S1", armoured fighting vehicles "Lazar 3" and "Miloš", M-84 tanks, IFV M-80A,  armored reconnaissance vehicles BRDM-2МS, MP fighting vehicles VPB М86. The self-propelled howitzers 155mm "Nora B-52" and 122m "Gvozdika", artillery-missile systems "PASARS" and UAVs also demonstrated their combat capabilities.
