General Staff Course Participants Take Study Trip to River Flotilla

Officers attending the General Staff College at the School of National Defence "Field Marshal Radomir Putnik", class 65, have been on a study trip to the Serbian Armed Forces River Flotilla this week.

The visit aimed to familiarize the college participants at this point of their education with the specific role of the SAF River Flotilla branch and military-geographic characteristics of some of the water territory of the Republic of Serbia.

During the visit which included journey on the special-purpose ship "Kozara" the General Staff College participants were acquainted with the purpose of the River Flotilla, its missions, tasks and capabilities of providing support to the Army units on inland waterways operations.

The General Staff College is a third level of special officers training programs organized by the University of Defence to train the participants for the highest command duties and leadership positions in the defence system.
