I would like to congratulate all members of the Special Purpose Military Police Detachment “Cobras” on 14th April – Day of the Unit.
This date is not only a reminder of the continuity of your existence, but also of the heritage of honor, responsibility and outstanding professionalism that you have been building devotedly for years. Through work, discipline and exceptional skills, the “Cobras” have grown into a reliable pillar of the security system and a measure of the highest achievements of military excellence.
The tasks that your perform are essentially among the most demanding ones; they require precise judgment, stability in every situation and complete commitment. Your role in protecting the highest state and military leaders, and in performing other missions of special importance for the Republic of Serbia, is characterized by reliability, punctuality and supreme knowledge.
Being part of such unit implies responsibility which surpasses the usual frames of service. It requires the strength of personality, self-control and constant readiness to act decisively, thoughtfully and in the interest of the state all the time.
The achievements that you make, not only in everyday activities, but also during national and international competitions, show a high level of skills and sense of togetherness, going beyond individual success and confirming the power of the collective.
Your fatherland remains committed to developing further the capabilities of the unit and we will continue with the investment in the enhancement of the Special Purpose Military Police Detachment “Cobras” through modernization of the equipment, improvement of training and constant care for the unit members and through the improvement of living and working conditions.
I am certain that in the future as well you will continue to perform assigned duties conscientiously and responsibly, preserving the reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces and cherishing the name and the tradition of an elite unit in a dignified manner.
