The second phase of the first training period is underway at Serbian Armed Forces’ specialized training centres for military service volunteers of the December 2025 intake.

During this six-week training phase, soldiers are being trained for specialties within infantry, artillery, engineer, armoured, and Air Defence artillery missile branches, as well as for logistics, telecommunications, and CBRN defence services.

The training is being conducted at military training grounds and in specialized classrooms under expert guidance of instructors. The soldiers are being instructed in the basic use and maintenance of collective weapons and equipment specific to various branches and services of the Serbian Armed Forces, which is the first step in their preparation for their future missions in military operations.

Specialized training for this generation of soldiers concludes at the end of February with an evaluation of the soldiers’ ability to carry out individual tasks. Following this, the soldiers will face collective training and be actively involved in everyday activities of SAF units until the end of their military service.

Soldiers interested in pursuing professional military careers are given the opportunity to apply now, so that they can go through the required procedure and become eligible for joining the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces as soon as they complete their voluntary military service.
