Tactical Course of Civil-Military Cooperation

The tactical course of civil-military cooperation for the Serbian Armed Forces officers organized by the CIMIC Department (J-9) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff is being conducted in the "Car Lazar" barracks and at the "Ravnjak" training area in Kruševac.

During the two-week training, participants are theoretically and practically trained to perform tasks in various positions in the CIMIC unit and in commanding positions in multinational operations.

During the theoretical part of the course, the Serbian Armed Forces officers got acquainted with the basics of CIMIC in our country and abroad, the competencies of international governmental and non-governmental organizations engaged in providing assistance to vulnerable population, as well as previous experiences of CIMIC officers in multinational operations. 

Participants will acquire special skills during the conduct of the practical part of the training at the "Ravnjak" training area, where they will solve numerous tactical suppositions, as they can expect in a real situation.

The training on the course is carried out by lecturers from the CIMIC Department and representatives of the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the Serbian Red Cross.
