Today, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, has visited the units of the Serbian Armed Forces stationed in the Valjevo garrison.
On that occasion, he was familiarized with the state of affairs and capabilities of some of the units of the 2nd Army Brigade, the 608th Logistics Base and the Signal Brigade, as well as the 2nd Training Center. He spoke with members of the Serbian Armed Forces and received reports from commanders on the implementation of the most important tasks.
At the “Field Marshal Živojin Mišić” Barracks, among other things, he was shown the modular M-18 Oganj MLRSs, which arrived at the battalion in Valjevo at the beginning of this year. This is a modern asset of missile artillery, domestically produced, the introduction of which into the arsenal improved significantly the capabilities for providing fire support to the forces in operations.
At this location, he was shown the facilities for training and logistical support, as well as renovated facilities where recruits will be accommodated after reinstating military service.
