The second stage of the annual competition of military police and reconnaissance units of the Serbian Armed Forces, held for the sixth time, is taking place this week at the Beranovac and Žiča military training areas near Kraljevo.
The competition provides a unique platform for members of similar military and police units to demonstrate their proficiency, exchange opinions, and strengthen cooperation. This year’s competition features 18 teams – 14 from the Serbian Armed Forces and two each from the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska.
The second stage of the competition out of a total of four was observed by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović. He witnessed first-hand the competitors’ great proficiency and motivation while they executed various fire missions as part of patrols at a specially designed firing range, doing their best to present their respective units in the best possible light.
The winner of the annual competition of military police and reconnaissance units will be announced on Friday, when the most demanding stage will be held – a 10 km team race, featuring both natural and man-made obstacles.
