Newly Commissioned Officers Assumed Duties in Serbian Armed Forces

The recently admitted officers, who were promoted to the rank of second lieutenant on Saturday by decree of the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, have assumed their duties in the Serbian Armed Forces today.
To mark the occasion, receptions were held at various commands, where the young officers were briefed on the organization, missions, and tasks of the units to which they have been assigned, as well as their rights, obligations, and priorities for the period to come.
Along with congratulations on their success and the diplomas they have earned, senior officers wished the second lieutenants every success in their professional military service and provided guidance for carrying out tasks in their initial assignments.
The newly commissioned officers now face the process of settling into their roles and familiarizing themselves with their military units, as well as the duties and tasks associated with their assigned positions, where they will have the opportunity to apply and expand upon the knowledge gained during their education at the Military Academy.
