Organized by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, an "Open Day" event was held today in Kragujevac, where citizens were introduced to some of the weapons and military equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces and the equipment developed by the domestic defense industry.

The event was attended by the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, PhD Nebojša Stefanović and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović.

On that occasion, President Vučić stated that the Serbian Armed Forces will be twice as strong in January or February next year as it is today.

— Imagine what you saw yesterday, and in just nine months there will be twice — said the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces during the visit.

He thanked the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces for organizing the display, saying that everything that could be seen belonged to our people.

— I am happiest when I see that people can enter our helicopters. They should not be afraid of them, but others should — the President of the Republic pointed out and added that such events should be organized more often.

— I am also grateful to our dedicated factories. Yesterday, people did not notice the 11 "Pasars" that came out of our factory, which is very encouraging. Congratulations to both you and our factories — said President Vučić.

As part of the "Open Day" event, citizens today had the opportunity to see numerous weapons and military equipment available to the Serbian Armed Forces, which was produced or modernized by the domestic defense industry, as well as equipment procured for the military from other countries during previous years, together with assets being developed.

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces demonstrated the practical use of martial arts and segments of service dog training, and the youngest visitors were happy to take photos with members of the Serbian Armed Forces and camouflage themselves with camouflage paint.

An exhibition of uniforms and weapons "Serbian heroes from 1914 to 1999" was also presented, and those interested were allowed to try shooting from an air rifle and pistol.

In addition to the sounds of marches and military marching songs performed by the Guards Representative Orchestra, visitors to the "Open Day" event could also help themselves with military beans.
