Training of Soldiers on Artillery Missile Systems

At the peacetime locations in the vicinity of Niš, the regular training of soldiers on military service of the "March 2022" class, who are assigned to the Mixed Artillery Battalion of the Mixed Artillery Brigade, is carried out.
In this period of military service, after the successful completion of individual training, soldiers and professional staff are trained for the combat use of self-propelled multi-barrel rocket launchers 128 mm M-94 "Plamen-S" and 262 mm M-87 "Orkan“.
In order to be trained for the effective use of missile systems, soldiers go through all the contents of the training as part of the crew, from scouting and occupying the missile position, through the transfer of the weapon to the combat position, the occupation of the firing elements, the work of the servers after giving the firing command, until moving to the next firing position.
Simultaneously with the training of soldiers for military service, the additional training of professional soldiers who have recently started their career in the Serbian Armed Forces as operators of these artillery rocket systems is being implemented.
The training of soldiers for military service in the Mixed Artillery Brigade lasts three months, during which they are trained to carry out collective tasks and actively participate in the life and work of the unit, and many of them will start their career as professional soldiers of the Serbian Armed Forces in this brigade.
