Training for Engagement in the Ground Safety Zone

In order to maintain a high level of combat readiness, the Serbian Armed Forces engaged in the control of the Ground Safety Zone and securing the administrative line with the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija conduct daily training to perform assigned tasks.
The training is conducted as part of regular activities and is a continuation and upgrade of the training that units of the Serbian Armed Forces carry out before being sent to the Ground Safety Zone.
During the training, special attention is given to training in combat operations in the event of an attack against the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as tactics, techniques and procedures used to prevent illegal crossings, extremist groups and organized crime.
Comprehensive preparations and continuous training improve the ability of the Serbian Armed Forces personnel to perform specific tasks in the Ground Safety Zone, in cooperation with other security elements of the Republic of Serbia and KFOR, in order to ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all citizens in this part of the country.
