Thursday, 12.8.2021 | Training
Service dogs handlers’ training is taking place on the training ground of the military police batalion, an Army unit.

The purpose of the training is enabling service dogs to conduct rules and procedures effectively during tasks which include service dogs such as search and rescue or searching for weapons or drugs.

Searching the land and facilities, searching objects discarded by the crime suspects, suspect identifying, searching for explosive devices and various drugs, are all elements of this training.

The training of MP members is diverse and demanding, and the high level training is very important for performing tasks involving service dogs, because of their ability to detect a potential danger and to overcome the enemy quickly and without the use of lethal force.
