Oath of Enlistment Ceremony

A military ceremony on the occasion of soldiers’ taking the enlistment oath has been held today in the Serbian Armed Forces barracks "Vojvoda Živojin Mišić" in Valjevo.
The oath has been taken by the "March 2022" class of soldiers and attendees of the Reserve Officers' Courses at the Military Academy and Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy. By pronouncing the oath, they swore they would preserve and defend independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
The oath of enlistment ceremony was attended by Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Commander of the Training Command, Major General Željko Petrović, family members and friends of the young soldiers and course attendees, along with representatives from local government bodies and religious communities.
The soldiers are now to continue their individual training activities at the Serbian Armed Forces training centres, while the future reserve officers are to receive general military and specialist training according to the curriculum of the Military Academy and Medical Faculty MMA.
