Tactical Training of SAF Reconnaissance Units
Tuesday, 17.1.2023 | Training
Members of the Army reconnaissance units have been going through various tactical training contents at SAF training and exercise areas over the last few days.
Such training is part of routine exercise activities conducted by reconnaissance units so that serving personnel could maintain a high level of skills needed to carry out combat missions in all conditions.
During the training activity executed in varied weather conditions and complex terrain, scouts refined their tactics and procedures while organizing scout patrols, surprise raids and ambushes and gathering intelligence on the enemy and situation on the ground using modern observation devices SAF scouts are equipped with.
Scout training is conducted continuously throughout the year so that they could be ready at a moment's notice to respond rapidly and efficiently to the situations they could encounter while performing intended tasks, primarily deep within enemy disposition. This is the best way to maintain a high level of physical fitness and mental stability, as well as their ability to come through the most difficult situations successfully.
