The 2nd Army Brigade members have conducted a campaign this week known as "Military Doctor in the Village" across the villages of Istočni Mojstir and Zapadni Mojstir near Tutin, and village of Bare, Sjenica Municipality.

This CIMIC project has been organized in collaboration with the Red Cross, local primary care institutes and municipality departments in an effort to provide medical assistance to the population living in remote areas and having trouble reaching the medical facilities.

As part of the action, military doctors and medical technicians have performed preventative medical checkups in village dispensaries and houses of people with walking difficulties or disabilities. People on relief have been given packages with essential supplies provided by the Red Cross.

On this occasion, as many times before, the local population has voiced great satisfaction at such an action by SAF involving medical examination in their villages, as well as gratitude to SAF members for their cordiality and readiness to hear their issues and provide all available help.

As part of the third mission, the Serbian Armed Forces implement numerous CIMIC projects in this and other areas of the Republic of Serbia aiming to deliver assistance to the residents of remote villages and strengthen mutual confidence and cooperation.
