“Cobras” Showed Their Top-Notch Skills at Special Units’ Competition

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has received a team of the Special-Purpose MP Detachment “Cobras” that achieved an excellent result at the prestigious international special units’ competition entitled “UAE SWAT Challenge 2025”, held last week in Dubai.

In an extremely stiff competition featuring 103 teams from 46 countries from around the world, the Serbian Armed Forces’ members won 20th place, demonstrating excellent tactical and firearms skills, teamwork, mental focus and psychophysical endurance.

General Mojsilović has pointed out that the “Cobras” team showed highest competence with their successful performance at the competition and best results of all Serbian teams, and he recognized them for their demonstrated skills, motivation, physical and mental strength. He has assessed that such competitions afford a good opportunity to promote the skills of Serbian soldiers, competitive spirit and sports in the Serbian Armed Forces, while improving cooperation, understanding and confidence among members of the elite special military and police units.

For the results achieved in the competition, the Chief of General Staff awarded the "Cobras" team with a seven-day stay at the military resort on Tara.

Staged by the Dubai Police since 2019, this year’s “UAE SWAT Challenge 2025” competition saw participation from police anti-terrorist teams and tactical hostage rescue units, as well as military special operations teams; in addition to “Cobras”, the Republic of Serbia was also represented by teams from the Gendarmerie and the MOI Special Anti-Terrorist Unit.
