Field Training for Infantrymen

Soldiers on voluntary military service since December 2022 specializing in the infantry branch have undergone practical training at "Pasuljanske Livade" Training Ground this week.
According to their specialties, soldiers learned how to use infantry weapons in combat while adapting to performing tasks and organizing life and work in field conditions.
The focus was kept on conducting tactical and firearms training and scheduled firing. Soldiers were able to put into action what they had learnt at the Army Training Centre and see for themselves combat capabilities of the 82mm mortar intended for providing fire support to infantry units. The results they scored – very good and excellent ones – were proof of this class’s complete mastery of the specialized training contents.
Upon their return from the field, soldiers will do the final part of individual specialized training and assessment of their skills in performing tactical missions and using infantry weapons in combat. Afterwards, they will be transferred to SAF units for collective training.
