Training of Staff Officers for Operational Tasks

The Operations Directorate (J-3) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff organized a two-week Course for training operational bodies in the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces.
This form of training takes place every year in order to improve the ability of the Serbian Armed Forces’ members to perform a wide range of staff duties while working as operational bodies in commands, units and institutions.
During the theoretical and practical training, the staff officers gained new knowledge about work planning, the process of making military decisions, organizing stand-by and security measures, planning and conducting inspections, and about analyzing and keeping operational records in the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces.
The implementation of such courses improves the competence of staff officers to perform operational tasks efficiently, which play a vital role in the successful functioning of commands, units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces.
