Training of the Serbian Armed Forces and the US Armed Forces Special Units

Joint training of special units of the Serbian Armed Forces and the European Command of the United States Armed Forces was completed today with conducting tactical exercise with live fire, at the "Peskovi" range near Požarevac.
The final segment of the joint training, which took place from November 8 to 26, was attended by the Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović and the Ambassador of the United States of America to Serbia, Anthony Godfrey.
During the three-week training activities, members of the special units of the Serbian Armed Forces and the US Armed Forces practiced tactics, techniques and procedures used in the anti-terrorist operation in the urban environment, from the infiltration of combat groups by applying a vertical maneuver, blockade and neutralizing terrorists, air evacuation of the injured to the withdrawal from the area of operation.
Conducting this and similar training activities with the armed forces of various countries improves the capabilities of special units of the Serbian Armed Forces for conducting complex anti-terrorist operations in all conditions and in cooperation with the units of the Air Force and Air Defence.
