With all due military honors, a traditional commemoration ceremony has been held in Pirot today in memory of the Serbian and Greek soldiers who died in the First World War and were buried in this town.

A delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces was led by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, who laid wreaths on this occasion at the Greek military cemetery and Monument to the People from Pirot Who Died in the First World War.
