Training of Armored Units and Infantry Soldiers

Soldiers of the “September 2023” intake who have been recruited for the branches such as infantry and armored units are undergoing individual specialist training at the Army Training Center.
During this training phase, which takes a month and a half, soldiers are trained in the use of their branch-specific weapons and equipment and application of tactical actions and procedures on combat operations.
In accordance with the training program and military occupational specialties, infantry soldiers are now practicing how to handle different types of personal weapons, defensive and offensive tactical actions within a group and section, and actions of reconnaissance bodies while executing specific tasks.
Along with their training, soldiers of the armored units acquire specialist knowledge and skills in the use and maintenance of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, supporting weapons and devices.
This period of soldier training ends with an evaluation of specialist skills, followed by collective training and involvement in the life and work of SAF units until the end of military service.
