Training on Oganj Digital Rocket System

At the training grounds of the First Army Brigade in Sremska Mitrovica, artillery soldiers are being trained for voluntary military service.
The soldiers were assigned to this unit after the successful specialist training in the Training Command centers for further training for collective tasks of the artillery branch. They are part of the services for digital self-propelled multiple 128 mm M-17 "Oganj" rocket launchers and are intensively trained for its combat use.
Together with the professional staff, the soldiers go through a number of tactical training contents and practice the work of the services for the execution of shooting, from the occupation of the firing position, through the calculation of the initial elements for shooting and the correction of artillery fire, until moving to the next rocket position.
Digital self-propelled multiple rocket launcher M-17 128 mm "Oganj" is a modern artillery system designed for the realization of sudden and concentrated artillery fire on large-scale targets, and its introduction into the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces significantly improved the fire capabilities of units for reliable, fast and accurate artillery support during combat operations.
