Assistance of Serbian Armed Forces in Water Supply of Čačak and Gornji Milanovac

At the request of local government bodies, members of the Serbian Armed Forces are engaged in providing drinking water for the residents of Čačak and Gornji Milanovac.

The shortage of drinking water in this part of the country was caused by the rupture of the main pipeline in the town of Gorobilje and the suspension of the water supply from the Rzav system, so members of the Serbian Armed Forces came to help, as they did many times before.

Water tankers of the Serbian Armed Forces with drinking water are placed in the Čačak General Hospital and on the streets of Čačak and Gornji Milanovac, where they deliver water to the locals according to the local utility companies schedule. They will remain on the ground until regular water supply is stabilized.

As always, the Serbian Armed Forces are ready to help citizens and, in accordance with available capacities, they engage their forces and resources when it is most needed, whether it is about water supply or alleviating the consequences of natural disasters and other accidents.
