Visit to Serbian Armed Forces Units in Sombor and Bačka Topola

Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, has visited today the Serbian Armed Forces units stationed in Sombor and Bačka Topola.
In the Sombor garrison, he gained an insight into the organization of life and work in a unit of the 126th ASEWG Brigade, and the 1st Training Center, where he visited the training facilities and facilities where recruits will be housed after reinstating obligatory military service.
Afterwards, at the “Bačka” barracks in Bačka Topola, where part of the units of the 1st Army Brigade are stationed, General Janković was familiarized with the condition and capabilities of the units and facilities for training, accommodation of soldiers and storing weapons and military equipment.
During today’s inspection, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff spoke with soldiers and officers and received reports from commanders on the degree of execution of critical tasks with proposals for further improvement of the state of affairs and capabilities of the units they command.
