Specialist Training of Soldiers in Field Conditions

Soldiers performing voluntary military service since September 2023, preparing for infantry and artillery specialties, have been undergoing practical training at military training grounds.
In accordance with their specialties, soldiers are being trained in the use of infantry and artillery weapons in combat, adapting at the same time to the execution of tasks and organization of life and work in field conditions.
While undertaking the training ground activities for several days, they have been practicing tactical actions and procedures in combat and executing scheduled firing from branch-specific weapons, which tests practically the success of training and provides an opportunity for soldiers to see for themselves the combat capacities of infantry and artillery assets for fire support.
Upon returning from the field, soldiers of this class are to undergo final part of specialist training and individual skills assessment, and will then be transferred to the Serbian Armed Forces’ units for a three-month collective training.
