In the battalion of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade, armed with artillery-missile systems Pantsir S-1, regular training of professional staff in performing specific tasks is underway, mainly in the stages of preparation and execution of anti-aircraft operations.

The training is intended to refresh the knowledge and improve the skills needed to undertake high-quality and timely tactical actions, and especially the work of combat crews for effective engagement of aerial and ground targets, in all conditions, selecting the optimal course of action.

As part of the complex training activities, through simulation of real situations and electronic firing at real and simulated targets, all stages of the previous and immediate preparation for firing are practiced. This improves the precision and speed of reaction, leading to the coordinated work of all system elements.

During the preparation and execution of combat operations, refilling of the combat kit of the Pantsir system is an important activity, so during the training phase, the procedures for arming combat vehicles with missiles and artillery ammunition are practiced according to the given norms.

The air defense artillery-missile system Pantsir S1 is intended for anti-aircraft defense of small-scale military facilities, administrative, political and economic facilities, regions and directions in the territory from reconnaissance and aerial attacks. By integrating it into the air defense system, the firepower and maneuvering capabilities of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade were improved, and thus the overall capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces to control and protect the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
