Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces conducted physical training in winter conditions this week, with the support of the Air Force and the Air Defence.

During several days of activities, members of the "Griffons" and "Falcons" special operations battalions from this brigade landed on remote locations, where they solved tactical and fire tasks on unknown mountain terrain in accordance with their purpose and given scenario.

Members of the special forces practiced vertical maneuver in cooperation with helicopter units, and then tactical actions during reconnaissance, intelligence gathering and conducting raids, diversions and ambushes, and overcoming vertical obstacles by climbing with the use of modern mountaineering equipment.

The multi-day training ended with conducting tactical exercise with combat shooting, which confirmed the high level of training of teams to perform assigned tasks of special operations forces.

This training is only a part of the complex training in the 72nd Brigade, which is conducted throughout the year in order to preserve and improve the ability to perform special operations and other actions in all conditions, primarily in the enemy's deployment at tactical and operational depth.
