Analysis of Operational and Functional Capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces for 2017

The regular annual analysis of operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces for 2017 was held at the Guards Club in Belgrade's Topčider barracks, today.

The analysis was attended by Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Chair of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee Marija Obradović, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubiša Diković, and members of the collegium of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of General Staff.
 
The analysis included a review of the Serbian Armed Forces work results in 2017, achievements in the development of operational and functional capabilities, capabilities of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, Training Command and the Guard, as well as the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole for the execution of the assigned missions. Also, other factors that influence maintenance and development of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces were also considered.
 
It was concluded that the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces during the previous year were raised to a higher level and the prospects for further strengthening of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces were identified, and concrete tasks for improving the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces in 2018 were also defined.
 
In the Topčider barracks, as part of today's analysis, there was a display of the part of the weapons and equipment of the Serbian Armed Forces and a part of the publishing activity of Odbrana Media Centre has also been presented.
