Youngest Soldiers’ Intensive Training and Oath Taking Preparations

The March 2022 class of soldiers serving in the army are currently attending their individual training and preparing for taking a military oath at the basic training centres of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The soldiers are currently going through their basic individual training a month and a half long intended to build their skills for using personal weapons and equipment, for undertaking protective measures, administering first aid and performing military duties, continuously raising the level of their physical fitness and endurance.

At the moment, the focus is on close-order drills and related activities so as to have soldiers ready for the military oath ceremony planned for the end of the week.

Further training includes firings from infantry weapons, stationary camping and evaluation of their skills and knowledge of the training equipment, close-order drills and Service Regulations, as well as their physical fitness. Those who complete the evaluation successfully will be sent to specialist training centres of the Serbian Armed Forces for further training.
