Promenade parade of Representative Orchestra of the Guard
On the occasion of marking 23rd April – the Serbian Armed Forces Day, Representative Orchestra of the Guard held a promenade parade along Knez Mihailova Street, from the monument to Prince Mihailo to Kalemegdan.
On the occasion of marking 23rd April – the Serbian Armed Forces Day, Representative Orchestra of the Guard held a promenade parade along Knez Mihailova Street, from the monument to Prince Mihailo to Kalemegdan.
Good weather completed the festive atmosphere and drew hundreds of citizens of Belgrade to the capital's main street, who were visibly cheerful following the orchestra to the Military Museum in Kalemegdan, enjoying the well-known tunes like "March on the Drina", "Infantry March of King Alexander", marches of King Milan Obrenovic, 1300 corporals to Forgiveness of a Slavic women and other popular compositions.
The cheerful audience, among which there were many of those who were pleasantly surprised by this kind of open-air concert, welcomed by applause all compositions performed the Representative Orchestra of the Guard. However, the parade traditionally brought the biggest joy to the youngest ones who particularly enjoyed the sounds of brass instruments.
