Last night, the members of the Infantry Company of the 21st Infantry Battalion of the 2nd Army Brigade took off from the Nis airport to Beirut, where they will begin with participation in the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Aleksandar Zivkovic, Army Commander, Brigadier Generals Marinko Pavlovic and Zelimir Glisovic, commanders of the Second and Third Brigades, respectively, Colonel Milivoje Pajovic, Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, and Lieutenant Colonel Djordje Belic, Commander of the 21st Infantry Battalion.

At the entrance to the plane corporals Zoran Mutavdzic from Raska and Mladen Keserica from Priboj said that they cannot wait to arrive at their destination, while Corporal Djordje Beocanin from Raska said: "I am happy that I am going to represent my country and I hope that I will conscientiously perform my task".

In the Nis barracks "Prince Mihailo" today, there has been organized a reception for the members of the infantry company of the Third Brigade who returned from the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.

The members of the company were commended and decorated with medals for their work, efforts and dedication to the mission and they received a special award of the command of the mission as the best and most disciplined unit in the implementation of tasks.
