President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic abiding by the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces, has issued decrees on appointing and ceasing of duty for generals and colonels of the Serbian Armed Forces. The following are being appointed to new positions: 1. Brigadier General Vaso Gujic appointed Chief of the Military Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Serbia (former Chief of the Minister’s Cabinet) 2. 5. Colonel Dragosav Lackovic, Head of the Personnel Department, MoD HR Sector(former Chief of the Military Duties Department, MoD Human Resources Sector)
6. Colonel Stale Staletovic, the Chief of the General Logistics Department of the Ministry of Defence, Material Resources Sector (former Chief of the Section in the of SAF GS Logistics Department)
7. Major General Sladjan Djordjevic, chief of the Human Resources Department of SAF GS (former Chief of the Personnel Department, MoD Human Resources Sector)
8. Brigadier General Vojin C. Jondic, the chief of SAF Operational Affairs Department (former deputy commander of the Army)
9. Brigadier General Dusan Stojanovic, Chief of the SAF Department for Planning and Development (former commander of the Training Command)
10. Brigadier General Goran Zekovic, the Chief of the SAF Training and Doctrine Command (former commander of the Central Logistics Base)
11. Lt. Gen. Aleksandar Zivkovic, commander of the Army (former Director of Defense Inspectorate)
12. Brigadier General Djokica Petrovic, Commander of the Training Command (former commander of the 1st Army Brigade)
13. Brigadier General Milosav Simovic, deputy commander of the Army (former commander of the 4th Army Brigade)
14. Brigadier General Mladjen Nisevic, deputy commander of the Training Command (former Chief of Staff of the Training Command)
15. Colonel Zarko Lazarevic, Chief of Staff of the Army Command (former commander of the 3rd Training Center, Training Command)
16. Colonel Jelesije Radivojevic, Chief of Staff of the Training Command (former Chief of the Centre for Peacekeeping Operations ).
17. Colonel Stojan Batinic, commander of the Army 1st Brigade (former Acting Chief of the Operational Affairs Department )
18. Colonel Marinko Pavlovic, commander of the Army 2nd Brigade (former assistant commander for operations in the Training Command)
19. Colonel Zoran Lubura, commander of the Army 4th Brigade (former Chief of Staff of the Army Command)
Professional service ceases in accordance with the law for the following:
1. Major General Milan Bjelica, Deputy Chief of the SAF General Staff,
2. Brigadier General Miodrag Colic, academy member, Dean of the Medical Faculty of MMA, MoD Department for Military Health Care
3. Maj. Gen. Dr. Bozidar Forca, Chief of the Strategic Planning Department of Defense Policy.
According to the requirements of service, the professional duty shall cease for:
1. Brigadier General Dr. Srdjan Novakovic, Chief of the General Logistics Department of Material Resources MO
2. Brigadier Gen. Nebojsa Djukanovic, head of the military mission of the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to NATO
3. Brigadier General Dragan Radulovic, Chief of the Republic of President of Serbia’s Military Cabinet
The following shall be dismissed from office and recommended for other appointments:
1. Colonel Petar Boskovic, head of the SAF GS Human Resources Department to date,
2. Colonel Dragan Smiljkovic, deputy director of the Military Security Agency to date
3. Colonel Milic Stanic, commander of the Army 2nd Brigade to date.
