Admission of Youngest Officers to Serbian Armed Forces

The youngest officers, who were promoted to the rank of second lieutenant by Decree of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic on Saturday, have reported today for their first duties in the commands, units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces.
On this occasion, formal receptions for young officers were held in the directorates of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and commands of the units directly subordinated to the Chief of the General Staff.
The commanders and chiefs briefed the second lieutenants on the organization, missions and tasks of their units, congratulated them on the successful completion of their education and gave them guidelines for performing the tasks on their initial duties.
The second lieutenants are now expected to get to know their colleagues, as well as the obligations and tasks at their workplaces, where they will have the opportunity to apply and expand the knowledge acquired during their education at the Military Academy and contribute to building the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
