Meeting with Commanders of Army Units

The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, held a meeting today, at the Knjaz Mihailo barracks in Niš, with the Commander of the Army and the commanders of brigades and independent battalions of this operational formation of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the meeting they discussed the security situation in the country and the surroundings of importance for the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, the current level of units’ manning and the degree of execution of the most important tasks and projects.
The Army Commander, Major General Zoran Nasković, who assumed his duty at the end of last week, explained short-term plans, work priorities and outlined his expectations from the commanders of directly subordinate units.
After the presentation and discussion by the participants, General Mojsilović informed the commanders of the Army tactical units about key activities and priorities in improving the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces and gave them guidelines for work in the following period.
On this occasion the Chief of the General Staff emphasized that the greatest strength of the Army is its personnel, adding that he is convinced that the Army, as the dominant branch of the Serbian Armed Forces, will continue to be an unwavering and reliable force in the coming period - competent, equipped and capable of carrying out all missions and assigned tasks.
