Visit to 4th Army Brigade

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, have visited today "The 1st Infantry Regiment of Prince Miloš the Great" Barracks, 4th Army Brigade, Vranje, and attended the M-84 Tank Company’s skills demonstration during establishment and movement of the marching column.

The 4th Brigade’s Commander, Brigadier General Novica Petrović, has taken the opportunity to brief the Minister of Defence on the organization, tasks and state of affairs in the Area of Responsibility of this Army component. 

Minister Vučević has claimed that he is confident that all members of the Army and 4th Brigade will always meet the requirements and expectations, and fulfill all obligations to protect the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and every citizen of our fatherland. 

— Our hearts rejoice at seeing that we have inherited not only glorious history and tradition, but also presence. Primarily, we have obligation to the future, to those who will come after us, and we are especially watchful of the surrounding circumstances. For that reason, the 4th Army Brigade has a serious, huge responsibility having in mind its area of operation, the setting it which it works and its environment. I am confident that all members of the Serbian Armed Forces, all members of the Army, and certainly of the 4th Brigade itself, will always meet the requirements and expectations and fulfill all obligations to protect the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and every citizen of our fatherland — stated Minister of Defence. 

He has underscored the continuation of work on the strengthening of the Serbian Armed Forces so that their personnel could have a better financial status and the best equipment and weapons.
