Oath of Enlistment Ceremony

The oath of enlistment ceremony has been held at "Field Marshal Živojin Mišić" Barracks in Valjevo today. The oath has been taken by soldiers on military service as of June 2022 and participants in the Air Force and Air Defence NCO Course.
While pronouncing the oath in front of the flag of the Republic of Serbia, soldiers and future NCOs have pledged to preserve and defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Commander of the Training Command, Major General Željko Petrović, representatives from MOD and SAF organizational units, local governments and religious communities, as well as relatives and friends of young boys and girls who have taken the oath.
The soldiers are now to undergo their individual and collective training being actively involved in the life and work of SAF units, while Air Force and Air Defence NCO Course participants will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant and become SAF professional members once they complete their six-month advancement program.
