Visit to Technical Overhaul Institute Čačak

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited the Technical Overhaul Institute Čačak today — a military institution within the Army whose main activity is technical maintenance and general overhaul of materiel.
During the inspection, he gained insight into the achieved capabilities and capacities for overhaul, modernization and serial production of assets important for further technological development of the Serbian Armed Forces, the organization and working conditions at the Institute, and the degree of implementation of ongoing projects.
He was presented with capacities for the overhaul and modernization of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other complex combat systems, weapons, electronics and electro-mechanic devices, new assets and work equipment, as well as plans for further development of capabilities, based on the application of new technologies and the rejuvenation and strengthening of professional staff.
With the assessment that the Technical Overhaul Institute in Čačak represents an important pillar of the Serbian Armed Forces and the defense system on the whole, General Mojsilović has praised the employees of this institution and pointed out that he expects them to continue with responsible and professional execution of tasks, further innovations, improvement of the technological process and preservation of high quality standards, because only in this way can they remain a reliable support for the modernization, development and strengthening of the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
