Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff visits Italy

Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic is on an official visit to Italy during which he met with Chief of General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces Fleet Admiral Luigi Bineli Manteli. The two generals exchanged views on the directions and modalities of cooperation.

Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic is on an official visit to Italy during which he met with Chief of General Staff of the Italian Armed Forces Fleet Admiral Luigi Bineli Manteli.

The two generals exchanged views on the directions and modalities of cooperation. Fields of military cooperation between Serbia and Italy are training of special units, training of Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, aviation, intelligence and reconnaissance operations, as well as education and training of officers.

In addition, the possibility of joint involvement in multinational operations and development of military economic and military technical cooperation are under consderation.

According to the results so far, bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Italy was assessed as very successful and beneficial for both countries.

Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff visited the Italian Explosive Ordnance Disposal training center. During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will visit the Joint Operations Command and Army Aviation Command of the Italian Armed Forces.
