As part of its regular summer training, the reconnaissance unit of the 4th Army Brigade conducted a series of training activities aimed at enhancing its capabilities to accomplish assigned missions.

In accordance with the expected tasks of the reconnaissance units and the defined training objectives, personnel conducted a wide range of activities both at training areas within the barracks and in field conditions, on land and water.

The reconnaissance personnel practiced techniques for overcoming water obstacles, solved tactical tasks in various environments, improved their combat skills and underwent training in independent nutrition outdoors. These activities are of vital importance when executing tasks in the depths of enemy dispositions.

The personnel also practiced the use of contemporary equipment including surveillance systems that the reconnaissance units have been recently equipped with. Their introduction into service has significantly enhanced the units’ capabilities for surveillance, as well as the collection and processing of intelligence data.

The successful execution of summer training, which represents a part of the complex training of the reconnaissance units, has greatly improved the knowledge and skills of soldiers and officers, as well as the overall competence of this unit to perform activities related to the intelligence in the Serbian Armed Forces’ operations.
