Open day in Vranje

More than six thousand citizens of Vranje and Pcinja district attended today the action of the Serbian Army "Open Day" in the "First Infantry Regiment Knjaz Milos Veliki" in Vranje. Members of the Army Fourth Brigade, under the command of Brigadier General Milosav Simovic, opened the gates of their barracks thus confirming great efforts to make "Open Day" a distinctive, different day from previous and a joy to your guests with new and interesting items.

Members of the Army Fourth Brigade, under the command of Brigadier General Milosav Simovic, opened the gates of their barracks thus confirming great efforts to make "Open Day" a distinctive, different day from previous and a joy to your guests with new and interesting items.

The new M10 uniform, which is produced in "Yumco" in Vranje, was promoted to the soldiers and officers in the assembly who sang the march "March towards the Drina." In the "Open Day" in Vranje, in addition to weapons and equipment, a number of very attractive items such as display of martial arts, training of dog watchers, breaking terrorist groups, releasing kidnapped the chief military man from moving vehicles, physical training and occupying the firing position. At the end of the "Open Day" visitors could see the tank battalion on the march.

"MS FREE BIKERS" has had a good cooperation with the command of the garrison who drove in on motorcycles to central part of the front of the stage, and their appearance attracted the attention of the youngest visitors. A large number of citizens visited the Memorial Room of the Fourth Brigade of garrisons and Vranje.

From 2006 to the 2012 , the barracks were visited by about 35,000 people from Vranje and Pcinja.

The officer for public relations, Lieutenant Zoran Stojadinovic, said that members of the Fourth Brigade of the Army traditionally have had good communication with the citizens of Vranje and organized every year by a new, attractive operating point. On the other hand, Captain Miroslav Stojanovic, the officer in charge of civil-military cooperation, said that holding the "Open Day" contributes to the popularization of the military profession in southern Serbia, and increases the number of applicants to military school and interest in employment in the Army.
