Chief of the SAF General Staff Visits Romania

The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, is paying an official visit to Romania, being invited by the Chief of Defence of the Romanian Armed Forces General Daniel Petrescu.
The official part of the visit began today with a welcoming ceremony, held for our delegation in front of the building of the National Ministry of Defence and the General Staff in Bucharest, followed by a meeting between generals Mojsilović and Petrescu and official discussions of the delegations of Serbian and Romanian Armed Forces.
The current security situation in the region and the world, the cooperation between Serbia and Romania so far in the field of defence, as well as the possibilities for improving military-military cooperation were discussed in the meetings.
On this occasion, General Mojsilović expressed his gratitude for the support of Romania to the territorial integrity of our country and pointed out that the Republic of Serbia is committed to the further development of overall bilateral relations, which he assessed as good-neighborly and friendly.
During his stay in Romania, the Chief of the SAF General Staff will visit the Command of the Multinational Corps Southeast, the Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, and the 26th Infantry Battalion of the Romanian Armed Forces in Craiova.
