A representative of LF 4th brigade Lt. Col. Goran Stankovic was awarded a Special Scroll for the Noblest Deed of the Year at the Belgrade City Hall today.

The panel of judges with our distinguished writer Matija Beckovic as the Presiding Judge stated in its explanation for this decision that the members of this unit deserved this scroll because of their humane and professional approach to the local citizens regardless of their national or religious identity.

A direct occasion for awarding the scroll to SAF Vranje-based units was a humanitarian campaign during which a medical team visited both an Albanian and Serbian village in GSZ. Upon having been presented with the scroll, Lt. Col. Stankovic stated that the soldiers, NCOs and officers of the unit, which follows in the footsteps of the First Infantry Platoon of Milos Veliki and 78th motorized brigade, would continue to build bridges of trust and provide help to the local community in GSZ.
