Sergeant Major Course Participants on Study Visit to General Staff

Participants in the Sergeant Major Course, who are being trained for the highest NCO duties in support of the command, have paid a study visit to the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff today.

The visit was part of the subject "Command and Control" and is intended to familiarize the course participants with the responsibilities and tasks of the Sergeant Major of the Serbian Armed Forces and Staff NCOs at strategic commands, and with the organization and functioning of the defence system's Operational Centre.

The Sergeant Major Course represents the highest-level NCO career development program to which the best and most experienced officers are referred, those who have proven their worth in their career so far through work and commitment and pronounced leadership skills. The 12-week advancement program's curriculum comprises the areas such as Command and Control, Training Management, Resource Management, Communication Skills, Military Psychology, Law and Regulations, English Language and Physical Training.
