Promotion Ceremony for Youngest Air Force and Air Defence NCOs

There has been a ceremony at Military Airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” in Batajnica today to mark the 73 new Air Force and Air Defence NCOs’ admission into professional military service.

These Air Force and Air Defence NCO Course participants (2nd class) have been admitted to professional military service from civilian background. Previously, they have completed the competition’s selection process and advancement in the field of maintaining assets in the units of this SAF arm.

Sergeant Bojana Stanisavljević was the most successful in this class, followed by Miloš Marković who took 2nd place and Antonio Pehčevski who took 3rd place.

The ceremony has been attended by Minister of Defence, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, representatives from MOD and SAF organizational units, relatives and friends of the NCOs who have been promoted today.

Today’s promotion ceremony made SAF stronger, manned with a new class of NCOs who are waiting readily for their initial NCO duties in the AF and AD units where they will have the opportunity to apply and broaden their knowledge acquired through advancement.
