Military working dogs from the Serbian Armed Forces Dog Training Centre received another seven awards at 30th International Dog Show "CACIB Niš 2022" and 18th "Kalča Cup" held in Niš yesterday.

In addition to Serbian dogs, there were about 600 other dogs this year that came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro to compete in ten categories at these prestigious international events.

On this occasion, SAF working dogs won seven cups in individual contests for the Šarplaninac breed and a plaque "Colonel Slobodan Teodosić, PhD" introduced this year as a tribute to former Commander of the Dog Training Centre and founder of the Canine Organization of Niš. Such an award is given to the best pair of Šarplaninac dogs.

The Dog Training Centre is intended for the training, medical care, breeding and reproduction of dogs and for professional training and development of the veterinary service employees. The Centre’s excellent results and awards won in international contests are confirmation of a high-quality work performed in this Training Command unit.
