In Vlakca village near Kragujevac, the 131st anniversary of birth of pilot Mihailo Petrovic, Serbian Army Sergeant and the first Serbian military pilot was marked. He was killed in an aircraft on 20th March 1913, and became the first aviation victim of our military aviation.



On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, a wreath was laid at the memorial plaque on the house of Mihailo Petrovic by the Air Force delegation headed by Colonel Dragan Panic, and on behalf of the Aviation Association of Serbia, Secretary of the Association Labud Bulatovic laid a wreath. Also, respects to pilot Petrovic were paid by representatives of the city of Kragujevac, Association for Fostering Aviation Traditions and many residents. 

In the course of the manifestation organized by Homeland Association Mihailo Petrovic from Vlakca and association of Retired Military Aviators and Parachuters of Serbia, a rich cultural artistic program was held.
