Our peacekeepers awarded medals in Slovakia

13 Serbian Armed Forces members, who have been deployed as part of the Hungarian-Slovak contingent for the past six months, performing tasks in the UN mission in Cyprus, received medals at a ceremony in the Slovakian town of Nitra. The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovakia has awarded medals to peacekeepers for professional attitude and contribution to peacekeeping operations.

13 Serbian Armed Forces members, who have been deployed as part of the Hungarian-Slovak contingent for the past six months, performing tasks in the UN mission in Cyprus, received medals at a ceremony in the Slovakian town of Nitra.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovakia has awarded medals to peacekeepers for professional attitude and contribution to peacekeeping operations.

At the invitation of the host, the medals were presented to Serbian Army peacekeepers by Brigadier General Djokica Petrovic, commander of the First Army Brigade.

Serbian Armed Forces participate in a multinational operation in Cyprus (UNFICYP with one staff officer, two military observers deployed with the MOLO liaison team, six patrol member and an infantry platoon of 37 people, within the Hungarian-Slovak contingent.
