Acquisition of Modern Assets for Serbian Armed Forces Continued

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited today the Pančevo Central Logistics Base units intended for storing mobile assets for the requirements of MOD and Serbian Armed Forces.
 
General Mojsilović took the opportunity to inspect the storage facilities intended for basic and technical material assets and spare parts and he saw that service personnel were highly competent to receive the material assets from the production lines and the market, to distribute them and to replenish the defence system end-users.

During the visit, Chief of the General Staff was shown the characteristics and capacities of the recently procured MAN 6x6 military semi-trailer tow trucks used for transporting combat vehicles whose introduction into service meant additional improvement of the mobility of forces and safety of military transport.

While expressing his satisfaction with the presented state of the modern assets and military equipment in support of SAF and the rate at which they were being procured, Chief of the General Staff pointed out how important the Central Logistics Base units were for creating favorable conditions for organizing the life and work and for conducting operations. He announced that, with strong support provided by Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, acquisitions for and the overall strengthening of SAF would continue in the new economic and security conditions as well. 

On his visit to the Central Logistics Base units, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff was accompanied by Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) of the General Staff, Major General Srđan Petković.
