At the Serbian Armed Forces training grounds in Prokuplje and its vicinity, intensive training of the crews of multi-purpose armored combat vehicles 4x4 M-16 “Milos” is underway in using this vehicle in peacekeeping operations.

It is a modern combat vehicle of domestic production, which is used not only by some units of the Serbian Armed Forces’ Army, but also by our infantry company when performing its tasks in the United Nations peacekeeping operation in Lebanon.

In accordance with the training program, in study rooms and on training grounds, officers and soldiers preparing for the roles of commanders, gunners and drivers of the “Milos” combat vehicles are now going through theoretical and practical contents related to handling weapons, optronics, thermal imaging and radar observation and aiming systems, mastering driving techniques in different terrain, as well as maintaining and eliminating possible malfunctions.

Further on, during the training, the crews will be practicing off-road driving with overcoming obstacles and executing live firing using the vehicle’s integrated weapons system, after which they will undergo collective training within the infantry company and an evaluation exercise that will check their readiness to engage in operations in an international environment.

The 4x4 M-16 “Miloš” armored combat vehicle is characterized by high mobility in various conditions and modular ballistic protection of the crew, with built-in weapons, modern subsystems and various design solutions, which ensures its usability by the Serbian Armed Forces units intended for different purposes.
