SAF CHOD visits Third Brigade members
The Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces LTG Miloje Miletic accompanied by the commander of the army LTG Ljubisa Dikovic and Third Army Brigade Commander Colonel Cedomir Brankovic toured the units of the army third brigade stationed in Kursumlija and the Ground Safety Zone.

Miletic accompanied by the commander of the army LTG Ljubisa Dikovic and
Third Army Brigade Commander Colonel Cedomir Brankovic toured the units
of the army third brigade stationed in Kursumlija and the Ground Safety
Zone.
General Miletic started his tour in the barracks “Toplicki
ustanak” in Kursumlija. On that occasion, the commander of the army has
briefed the SAF CHOD on all focal tasks performed by the Army,
including the safeguarding of the Ground Safety Zone and the
administrative border line towards Kosovo and Metohija.
In
Kursumlija-based barracks, General Miletic attended the training of the
37th mechanized battalion followed by an inspection of the newly built
facilities for storing technical weaponry.
During his visit the
SAF CHOD visited the troops storage “Mirnicka reka” and “Susnjak”
military base in GSZ, The members of the SAF are stationed in “Susnjak”
base where they carried out the exercise “Preventing the penetration of
the administrative line beyond allowed points of entrance”.
In
his address to army men and officers at “Susnjak” base, General Miletic
presented commendation to the Army members and the subordinate units for
the results achieved in the previous period, commending especially the
deployment and engagement of units in GSZ.
The
members of the Army have significantly contributed to the improvement
of general security, with a significant drop in incidents, while boosting trust in GSZ, as the SAF CHOD pointed out.
